What is
O.P.T.?
O.P.T. is a parent-teacher organization, which is involved
in helping to make each school year at Duncan Elementary run
smoothly. O.P.T. stands for Organization
of Parents and Teachers. Our goal is to make each year as fulfilling
as possible for Duncan students, staff and parents.
How Do I Join O.P.T.?
By being a parent at Duncan, you are already a member! No dues
are collected, and we'd love to see you at our meetings. Watch
the newsletter for dates and times. And of course, we welcome
your participation in any of the activities of the O.P.T.
How Can I Help Make My O.P.T. a Success?
Attend the meetings - We meet for one hour,
from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. about 3 or 4 times during the
school year. Be willing to share your new ideas.
Volunteer for projects - When you are able,
there are many projects going on through the entire year. Help
is never refused. Fill out the volunteer form and let us know
what kind of projects you are interested in.
