Every effort will be made by the Human Resources Department to respond to persons seeking appointments to teach at the Columbus Public Schools. In any case where normal, routine procedures do not satisfy an applicant's need to know the status of his/her candidacy, he/she is encouraged to contact Columbus Public Schools with questions.

To teach in Nebraska, a person must be certified by the State of Nebraska Board of Education. Information and application forms for certification may be obtained from the office of Teacher Certification at www.nde.state.ne.us/tcert.
